Tour
Since 1997, The Hong Kong Ballet has raised its international profile and has concluded 18 tours to 10 different countries in North America, Europe and Asia. In the 2008/09 season, the Company conducted two successful tours in China that received strong critical acclaim, including an appearance in the 2008 Shanghai International Arts Festival and a debut at the Opera House of the National Theatre of China in Beijing.

Number of Performance per week
Maximum 8 performances, with the following conditions
- No traveling between cities on performance date
- One day off per week
- Prefer to perform on the second evening after move in*
(*The exact no of set-up days varies in accordance to the productions. Please refer to the technical riders upon request for details.)
Tour Conditions
- All kinds of local costs of the rehearsal and performing venues (including local transportation to and from hotel and performing venue, the necessary personnel for set up, rehearsals and strike out) as well as technical materials
- All necessary publicity materials; The Hong Kong Ballet can provide the text and visuals in electronic format
- Lodging with a minimum category of three stars (including breakfast) for all The Hong Kong Ballet members throughout the Tour's duration
- Insurance, visa fee, airfare and airport tax for all members of the The Hong Kong Ballet
- International cargo transportation of set and costume
- A negotiable performance fee for each The Hong Kong Ballet performance during the tour
- A reasonable daily per diem for each member of The Hong Kong Ballet
- Provision of a tour manager and an interpreter (if needed) to facilitate the operation during the tour
