Wardrobe Officer

The candidate should have a passion for working in a performing arts organization and a proven track record in working in a computerized inventory system environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Report to the Head of Wardrobe and support the department on logistic related tasks

• Take the lead role in the implementation and set up of a new computerized inventory system

• Accurately and timely update the costumes and accessories’ quantity and location in the system, once it has been successfully launched

• In charge of the warehouse to make sure the costumes and accessories are physically well organized for each of the Company’s repertoires

• Work closely with the team to achieve a smooth running of the Company’s performances or events, includes prepare and get ready of the required costumes in advance for the rehearsals and the performances; arrange and perform quick changes during the performances; arrange the necessary accessories for the contracted dressers and support them during the performances

• Occasionally, tour with the Company outside Hong Kong

• In-charge and arrange with outside vendors on dry laundering of the used costumes

• Prepare and get ready for the required dyed shoes for all performances and events

• Assist other departments in their events on costume and accessory requirements and when necessary attend the venue visits

• Any other duties as assigned by the Head of Wardrobe, the management or their delegate(s) from time to time


  • University Degree or Diploma holder or equivalent preferred
  • Working experience in performing arts; garment or any relevant industries is preferably
  • Knowledge and/or experience in a computerized inventory system
  • Good team player, independent, organized, proactive, keen to learn and detail minded
  • Able to work under pressure and flexible working hours
  • Candidate with less experience will also be considered
