Guest Ballet Master

Born into a family of professional dancers in Hunan, China, Liang Jing began training at the age of ten at the Secondary School of Beijing Dance Academy and continued at Beijing Dance Academy. He joined Shanghai Ballet in 1986 and became Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of China in 1991. Liang was awarded the honour of China’s National Class One Performer and was invited to perform at the Oscars® Ceremony in 1994. He joined Hong Kong Ballet in 1997 and was promoted to Principal Dancer in 1998. Liang took the dual role of Principal Dancer and Assistant Ballet Master in 2006 and became Senior Ballet Master in 2013. He was named Guest Ballet Master in 2018.
