Born in Tochigi, Japan, Naomi Yuzawa graduated from Chiyo Ishihara Ballet School in 2007 and was a member of Houston Ballet Academy and Houston Ballet II that same year until 2009. She joined Orlando Ballet II before coming to Hong Kong Ballet as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2010. She was named Coryphée in 2015.

With Hong Kong Ballet, Yuzawa has danced featured roles including Clara and Spanish Doll in Terence Kohler’s The Nutcracker, Cupid in Nina Ananiashvili’s Don Quixote, Jewels and Joy Fairy in Cynthia Harvey’s The Sleeping Beauty, Nichette in Val Caniparoli's Lady of the Camellias, and Pas de Quatre and Four Cygnets in John Meehan’s Swan Lake. She has also performed in Ronald Hynd's Coppélia, Pär Isberg’s Pinocchio, George Balanchine’s Serenade, Alexei Ratmansky’s Le Carnaval des Animaux, Jiří Kylián's Petite Mort and Sechs Tänze, Krzysztof Pastor’s In Light and Shadow, Jorma Elo's Shape of Glow and Edwaard Liang’s Sacred Thread.

Yuzawa won first place in the ensembles category at Youth America Grand Prix in 2010.
