About Swan Lake

The beautiful Odette, cursed by the evil Von Rothbart, takes the form of a white swan during the day and can only become human again at night. The curse can only be broken by a vow of true love. By chance, a handsome young Prince meets and becomes enthralled by Odette, and they fall in love. At the Ball, the scheming Von Rothbart arrives with Odile, his daughter whom he has enchanted to look exactly like Odette. Odile tricks the Prince into believing that she is Odette, and he unintentionally vows to marry Odile the Black Swan. Brokenhearted, the White Swan Odette reunites with the Prince by the lake for one last dance, sealing their eternal love and breaking Von Rothbart’s spell.
