托罗斯生于波多黎各马亚圭斯，曾任蒙特利尔爵士芭蕾舞团导师。他于亚利桑那州大学学士毕业，主修舞蹈及心理学跨学科研究，并于乔治梅森大学完成艺术硕士课程。托罗斯的舞蹈生涯丰富全面，曾加入亚利桑那芭蕾舞团和马里兰芭蕾剧院，以及曾担任华盛顿芭蕾舞团的独舞员及首席舞蹈员。托罗斯曾担演多位国际著名编舞家的新作，曾任室内舞蹈计划芭蕾舞导师、华盛顿芭蕾舞团工作室及实习生计划芭蕾舞导师、乔治梅森大学客座教授、安娜贝尔．洛佩兹．奥乔亚和衞承天的排舞导师，以及客席导师/编舞家。
