Join us for a special session with Viviana Durante, renowned former The Royal Ballet and American Ballet Theatre principal dancer and guest coach for Hong Kong Ballet’s upcoming production of Giselle. We are honoured to invite Ms Durante to Hong Kong for a masterclass on 24 May for local dancers and fans. This is a unique opportunity to learn from a celebrated artist with an impressive ballet career!

She has performed all major ballet roles and has coached dancers at top companies worldwide. Her expertise and passion for dance make this masterclass a must-attend event for aspiring ballet dancers.

Viviana Durante - Guest Coach

Viviana Durante joined The Royal Ballet at age 17 after training at its school and was then promoted to principal at age 21. She has danced all major roles, winning equal acclaim in the classics and in dramatic ballets by Kenneth MacMillan, creating roles in his Winter Dreams and The Judas Tree, among many new works. A former principal with American Ballet Theatre (ABT), La Scala in Milan and Japan’s K-Ballet, she has guested worldwide and is a frequent judge at international competitions. From 2019 to 2024 she was Artistic Director of English National Ballet School. As Artistic Director of Viviana Durante Company, she currently stages innovative dance events at the Barbican Centre, London and around the world
