Ballet Classics for Children: Cinderella

Sold Out for all Eight Shows

The Company’s first ever Japanese show is a huge success

Proudly presented by Repetto

[Hong Kong – 25 January 2017] Ballet Classics for Children: Cinderella, with Repetto as its Title Sponsor, was a resounding success this year! Audiences packed into full houses for all eight shows last weekend, filling the theatre with their joy and laughter. To fully engage both the young and young at heart, the Company presented shows in Cantonese and English and also staged its first ever show narrated in Japanese by its multi-talented dancer Shunsuke Arimizu, whose lively acting and commentary delighted many Japanese families and children at the opening performance.

Additionally, the fun and interactive The Cinderella Workshop designed by the Company’s Education and Community Outreach team was held at Harbour City’s Repetto Shop in Tsim Sha Tsui on 7 January 2017. Sponsored by Repetto, the workshop hosted children ages 4-10, who explored the wonderful world of Cinderella through storytelling, handcrafts, costume appreciation and creative dance movement. Through their active participation, the children experienced various aspects of the classic Cinderella story before they attended the actual performance, and they were excited to dance with the whimsical props. What a memorable afternoon for everyone!
