Both Jin and Spigner will continue to perform as dancers.

Born in Jilin, China, Yao Jin joined the Company as a Senior Soloist in 2004 and was named Principal Dancer in 2005. Last November, she celebrated her 20th anniversary as a professional ballet dancer with Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camellias, which was an homage to her fascinating career as well as a showcase of her artistic excellence. In her additional role as Assistant Ballet Mistress, she will join forces with Senior Ballet Master Jing Liang and Ballet Mistress Min Tang to continue developing the Company’s artistry to the highest level.

Born in South Carolina, USA, Jonathan Spigner joined the Company as a member of the Corps de Ballet in 2010 and was named Coryphée in 2014.
