One of the world's most sought after guest teachers, Yannick Boquin returns to Hong Kong Ballet to guide dancers through daily classes, elevating their technique and artistry in preparation for the upcoming Swan Lake world premiere. About Yannick Boquin
Yannick Boquin received his dance education at the Paris Opera Ballet School and the National Conservatoire of Paris. He danced as a principal with Bonn Opera Ballet, Royal Ballet of Flanders, Rome Opera Ballet and Deutsche Oper Berlin. Over his career he has been the recipient of many prizes, including 1st Prize of the Conservatoire of Paris (1981), Gold Medal at the Houlgate Competition (1985), Gold Medal at the International Competition in Paris (1987) and Positano and Leonide Massine Award (1995). Over the years, he has worked as an international guest teacher with numerous ballet companies, such as Dresden SemperOper Ballet, Finnish National Ballet, Houston Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, La Scala Ballet and many more. He has also collaborated with various renowned schools, including the Princess Grace Academy of Monaco and the Royal Swedish Ballet School. In 2022, he took the role as a classical teacher at the Prix de Lausanne.
