Hong Kong Ballet starts its passion-filled 2018-19 season with the Asian premiere of ALICE (in wonderland), choreographed by its Artistic Director Septime Webre. Before the curtain goes up on 17th August, beat the crowd, and come have a preview of this fantastical production, you might just meet our White Rabbit or the scary Queen of the Hearts! These events are an extension of our Ballet PLUS+ project, which received extremely enthusiastic and popular response this Spring, giving you a unique chance to come into our studios this summer.

Ballet PLUS+’s mission is to enhance the understanding and appreciation of the power of ballet in the contemporary world. This series of groundbreaking films, interactive workshops, lively salon talks, and an engaging symposium provides greater insights into contemporary ballet and the choreographers’ creative processes. Ballet PLUS+ culminates in a thrilling evening of premieres by some of the most celebrated international choreographers of our time – Alexei Ratmansky, Christopher Wheeldon and Trey McIntyre. Everyone is welcome - from laypersons to dance professionals!
