Romeo And Juliet - School Culture Day
On 19th November 2015, Hong Kong Ballet staged excerpts of Romeo And Juliet for the School Culture Day Scheme at the Grand Theatre of Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Almost 1,400 students from 10 primary and 9 secondary schools were in attendance for the activity.
Through the introductory talk and the fun activity sheet, the students met the main characters, learnt about the story, background, set design and music of the ballet Romeo and Juliet, followed by appreciation of the dance excerpts. The event was greatly supported by students and teachers with highly positive response, and Hong Kong Ballet is proud to have encouraged a love of the arts to students through this scheme.
