Tang Min

Ballet Mistress

Born in Jilin, graduated from the Beijing Dance Academy, and immediately joined the National Ballet of China as Principal Dancer from 1979 to 1988. Tang was also the former Principal Dancers of Pittsburgh ballet Theatre (USA), Les Grands Ballet Canadien (Canada) and Fort Worth Dallas Ballet (USA). Tang was the Silver Medalist in the 4th Osaka International Ballet Competition & the 6th Varna International Ballet Competition in 1984 and 1986 respectively. Before joining The Hong Kong Ballet as Ballet Mistress in September 2009, she worked as the Ballet Mistress in Guangzhou Ballet for 4 years.
