A special family-friendly production

Ballet Classics for Children: Carnival of the Animals

[Hong Kong – 16 July 2018] Kids of all ages will love Hong Kong Ballet’s charming port-of-entry into the world of ballet! Ballet Classics for Children: Carnival of the Animals is anchored by ballet-world superstar Alexei Ratmansky’s delightful Le Carnaval des Animaux (Carnival of the Animals) and features cameo appearances by a menagerie of characters like Swan Lake’s Little Swans, The Sleeping Beauty’s Puss-n-Boots and the beautiful Bluebird and more. Directed by David Liu and narrated by Rick Lau, this interactive educational programme for families is full of action, drama and humour. This popular series will include a live ballet ‘petting zoo’ at its six performances at Hong Kong Cultural Centre’s Studio Theatre 15-16 September 2018.

Ballet Classics for Children is an excellent first introduction to a live ballet performance for children as young as 3 years old. Shows usually sell out quickly, so get tickets early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are priced at $300 and $200 and are now available at URBTIX.
